George Paginton: Painting a Nation explores the journey of a relatively unknown Canadian landscape painter who was a peer of members’ of the Group of Seven. Paginton’s private passion was to document the wonder of nature from coast to coast. A prolific artist, Paginton created over 1500 oil paintings, the majority never exhibited or sold commercially. This publication aims to present the artist to Canadians and include him the art historical cannon of the nation.
