The summary of the Reiseanalyse 2019 describes the substantial dimensions of the German holiday market and it’s changes over time. It informs about travel behaviour and travel patterns and also about motives for and the expectations of travelling within the German speaking population 14+ in Germany. The analyses are based upon the annual Reiseanalyse (RA) with face-to-face interviews in January 2019 and online interviews in May and November 2018. The aim with the summary of the Reiseanalyse 2019 is to inform researchers, specialised journalists, students and the public about some of the key results of this year’s Reiseanalyse. FUR (Forschungsgemeinschaft Urlaub und Reisen) is responsible for the annual Reiseanalyse, and one of it’s tasks is to share some of the results of the surveys with the public.
